The contract is for the purchase of Bus Network Analysis & Scheduling Software, with a wide ranging functionality including: - Network analysis - Bus service and network re-design - Bus timetable scheduling based upon bus speed data - Demographic analysis - Bus journey time / iscochrone mapping - Bus service scheduling and cost assessments - "Blocking" - modelling of bus workings at depot and service level to assess network peak vehicle requirements - Demand responsive transport design - Integration with DRT data from West Midlands on Demand Via booking system - Shareable maps for stakeholder engagement - Creation of custom maps for stakeholder engagement, internal comms, and reports The contract is for a duration of 2 years, from 8th May 2026 until 7th May 2028, with a 1-year option to extend to a final, potential expiry date of 7th May 2029.
