Contract Details
Support is required from the Contractors who must have extensive experience in the renewables sector, across the full range of technologies, initially supporting both investments and project development and the design and delivery of programmes for the delivery of grant and debt funding. The Contractors must be able to provide the full range of complementary advice and transaction services, including regulatory, permissions, planning, consent. In addition, given the small size of the GBE in-house legal team, Contractors must be capable of supporting GBE's core needs be that in the context of a transaction or in a BAU setting. This will include employment, public law, procurement, FOIA/EIR, subsidy control, competition, commercial, employment and litigation. Further details are included with the Contracts. These Contracts were awarded following the direct award process under the Government Commercial Agency's Legal Panel for Government RM6360, Lots 1 and 2. The budget for the programme is £2million to run from 2026 - 2028. Each Contract has maximum value of this total programme spend, but there is no commitment to spend any value with any Contractor. Activity will be allocated to a Contractor based upon lot, conflicts of interest and experience in this area required. Each Contract has an initial phase until 30/06/2027, with an option to extend until 30/06/2028. Additional information: Redacted contracts
