Contract Details
The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Trust) requires a Supplier provision of insurance for the Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (The Trust)'s motor vehicle fleet, including any hired vehicles (The Services). The Services cover legal liabilities in respect of death of or bodily injury to any person and/or damage to third party property (e.g. other vehicles, buildings etc) arising out of an accident in connection with its vehicle motor fleet. Therefore, the Trust requires a contract with the Supplier to ensure sufficient insurance cover is in place to cover such legal liabilities. The Services are to ensure the Trust is covered in the event of an incident, enabling claims to be made against the relevant policy rather than the Trust having to pay potentially high value claims from its own budgets. The term of the contract is 36 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months. This extension shall take the form of two 12 month incremental periods The contract has been procured via the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) 1198 Insurance Placement DPS: Insurance Brokerage & Insurance Procurement Frameworks | YPO
