The National Chlamydia Screening Programme (NSCP) evidences a need for increased chlamydia surveillance for those most at risk and provides an evidence base for routine testing of all sexually active under-25s. In the Framework for Sexual Health Improvement in England (which corresponds to the NCSP) improving chlamydia diagnosis amongst 15-24 year olds as a key outcome for local authorities to prioritise.
