J Tomlinson collapse leaves supply chain with £17m in unpaid invoices
More than 600 subcontractors and suppliers have been left with £17m in worthless invoices after J Tomlinson went into administration in July.
The Nottingham based contractor had total debts of £33m, according to an update from administrator FRP.
The supply chain, who are unsecured creditors, are unlikely to get any payment for the work and materials they provided.
The list of subcontractors and suppliers affected spans 24 pages.
FRP said J Tomlinson had cash flow problems and the impact of covid, as well as losses on a care home and student accommodation project and an adverse adjudication decision on a school project.
